Good but not great!!! April 17, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I have tried different speed ropes throughout the last 2 years. Here is my opinion on the 4 ropes I tried. The best I tried was the Buddy Lee Master speed rope with the Aero speed a close 2nd. They are smooth, comfortable and fast. However, the Aero speed is a bit light. The Harbinger comes in 3rd. Its a really good rope, but I did not like the handles which were a bit uncomfortable and the end caps fell off constantly. The last was the Valeo which was a bit light to the touch. All of these ropes will suit any one who likes jumping rope. Its a matter of personal preference.
Jumping Rope April 15, 2008 This rope is very nice to use, it's very sturdy for use. The ones at the gym are flimsy and they do not hold up. This rope doesn't get tangled up and stays loose and fulid. This Jump Rope make exercising fun and alot easier. It's not fun to work out when your rope gets tangled up and your exercise is half over and you have to untangle it before you can continue on. The item isHarbinger 331200 Trigger Handle 10-Foot Adjustable PVC Jump Rope
U could do better. March 27, 2008 okay jump rope but because it does not turn on ball bearings it twists and tangles horribly in 60-80 turns.
Don't count on adjustability March 19, 2008 The ony thing I can say about this is that if you think you will be dependant on the adjustability you might want to pass this up. Luckily for me the length is still workable (im 5'6") but if you think you will need to shorten the rope for whatever reason do not count on it. To adjust it what you do is just push the some of the rope down into the handle and in my experience unless you continue to hold on to the rope directly while you jump it will simply expand back out to its full size.
Definitely not a speed rope!! March 11, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have owned many different ropes and this is the heaviest one I have ever used. The advertisement describes it as a "speed rope". That description is totally misleading. If you want a true speed rope, order one of the ropes from Buddy Lee on this site.
