1 out of 5 stars Item did not work..Poor support   June 19, 2008
Bought item in March 2008. Downloaded one free course. Didn't get to use it until June 2008. Battery fully charged. Item did not work. Emailed support and there has been no response from Garmin.

5 out of 5 stars Definitely recommend this product   June 15, 2008
I am a 10 handicap, and was looking for something to help with my distances on the course. I have tried rangefinders, but had a tough time holding steady enough to get accurate yardages, so decided to look into GPS. I did a lot of research on multiple products, including Garmin's top competitor, and decided to go with Golflogix based on reviews as well as features. I received it just over a week ago, and have played 4 rounds with it, and would highly recommend it. It gives accurate yardages (compared to courses GPS systems and yardages marked on the courses), and gives the yardages quickly. It is simple to get started, and simple to use.

My playing partners were asking me for yardages throughout the rounds. Definitely helped with decisions on what to hit off the tee, and with carry yardages. Also gave yardages to doglegs and end of fairways.

Went with 2007 model based on price, and figured I could add/subtract for distance on shots.

5 out of 5 stars Golflogix - Joel-Lake Worth   June 12, 2008
After a slight adjustment on distance, the unit works great. If you call the technical advisory people at the manufacturer, they quickly move to correct any inaccuracies. It was a pleasure to work with this staff,

1 out of 5 stars bad experience   June 9, 2008

yardages were way off when compared against sky caddie and laser when I called Garmin I was put on hold for 40 minutes. Spoke to Adam who hung up. Just glad I bought it through Amazon so there is no problem returning it

This is a great product which gives you all the information necessary while playing your favorite course. The only drawback is its appetite for batteries, which can be alleviated by purchasing a charger and rechargeable batteries.
