I just had my first opportunity to use the Garmin golflogix on the golf course. It was extrememly valuable in providing accurate distance when there were no markings, and on several occasions gave correct readings when the marked distance was wrong.
The only thing that I think should be different is the $29 cost per year for searching the data base and loading golf courses on to the system. The rate per year should be the rate for as long as I have the thing.

I used a golf gps product from intelligolf , it required too much input and constant fiddling during a round so you ended up not playing well. It was important to me to find a gps unit that didn't require any input or fiddling with during a round . The Logix is it !! First time on the course I just turned it on it aquired the satellites in a couple of minutes and just started working perfectly on the first hole , it automatically sequenced to the next hole just like the commercial says. It is highly accurate also. I highly recommend this product . Buy this one and save $ over the 2008 model.

This is a great product. Easy to use; easy to see.
When I first bought this GPS, I played a course that had been rebuilt. All of the yardages were inaccurate. I emailed GolfLogix and within 5 days they revisited the yardages and brought the course up to date.

I found this to be a very easy to use product that functions as advertised. It was a little putzie getting the software downloaded and functioning with the unit, but after that it was simple. I would like to see more internal memory to allow more course selections to be loaded into the unit but overall a very nice product.
