 wrong item sent -no item number on web site. June 19, 2008
the case sent to me by beach cites was wrong item. amazon show picture with no garmin item number. I don't blame beach cities they refunded money but not shipping.

My husband left the original case in a rental car (try getting something back from them). This case is just like the first one. It is a fits a bit snug but necessary I guess so that the unit does not fall out.

This case was bought for a Nuvi 700 series GPS and is a slip-in type (without a flap or other closure) that depends on friction to hold it inside the case. The case fits well and offers a good compromise between easy access to the gps and protection from bumps. One thing to watch out for: sliding the gps into the snug case can move the power switch to the "on" position or to the screen lock position depending on which end is inserted into the case. If the power switch does move, you want it to be in the screen lock position.

This case fits the Garmin Nuvi 760 snugly. Good for carrying the GPS unit with you, since the case does not add any size. Amazon offered at a reduced price and delivery was timely.

The nuvi 760 fits perfectly in this case. It's a must to keep the unit free of scratches. I'm glad I made the purchase.
