The unit appeared to work well but the clip failed to hold on to my belt and was gone in the 2nd day.

I really did not have high hopes for this as the price was so low, but it works great. It is so good I have gotten my co-workers to get them and now we compete to see who walked the most each day.

They work great, I got them for 14 9-12 year olds and they get banged around a lot but they still work, they also look really nice almost like beepers which is appealing to the kids. The ship was really quick also.

We purchased 100 of these pedometers to distribute to members of our church as part of a "walk for health" activity. Out of the 100 we gave out, already at least 25 have had problems with staying on, calculating the correct mileage (one person took ten steps and the pedometer read it as one mile), and other problems. With about 25% of the pedometers not functioning properly (and we are assuming more to come) we would NOT recommend purchasing this type. Next year, we will pursue other options. I did contact the manufacturer who stated they will replace the defective ones, (I had to purchase 30 quantity more). Then once I return the defective ones (which I have to pay shipping for), they will refund me the price for only the defective ones.
