Mine was defective May 4, 2008 9 out of 15 found this review helpful
Mine failed within days.. gave "write error" messages on all three cameras I tried it in, and could not be formatted
Annoying
Work perfect every time. May 4, 2008 I have the Canon S3IS. This takes thousands of digital photos and hours of video. I watch and record video of Eagles in the Midwest during the winter months, spending hours with the video recording just so I get that "perfect" video. I have two cards and many times fill them up with video each and every day I go. Not once have any of my Transcends 4gb and 8gb ever flinched. Perfect, smooth recordings every time. During the summer I record air shows. Again filling them up each and every time of the air show performances. Again, never flinching. Great product.
Works great! May 3, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Before I order this SDHC card, I am not sure if it will work on my Dell Axim X51V (flashed with wm6.0). It turns out the card works great. It's even faster than my previous SanDisk SD card(Ultra II). To use this card on a laptop computer running Windows XP, you may need to download a patch from Microsoft. By the way, some cheap SDHC card reader will have problem with the card. I bought a cheap multi-function card reader (including SDHC capacity) from ebay. The reader sometimes corrupt the data on the card.
Fast and reliable 8GB SDHC May 3, 2008 Based on the specifications for class 6 SDHC memory cards I presume that his card has a speed rating of 133X or even more since my camera requires a write speed of approx 10MB per second.
This 8GBs card is impressive through its flawless read and write at such high-speeds ( neither during playback nor during recording, have I experienced any glitches. I would like to note also that the audio and video have always remained in sync, and whilst in record mode, I encountered no lagging or frame drop).
Inexpensive and Works Perfect! April 29, 2008 I was sketchy at first about buying an off-brand card, but after looking at the reviews, saw that every brand had at least a few people with bad experiences, so decided to try the Transcend card.
I shot an entire 16 day vacation on just this card with a 10 megapixel camera on fine jpeg with room to spare! Absolutely no problems so far and would gladly buy another or recommend it to a friend.
