8 gigs yess May 31, 2008 Great card for my digital camera. Can take lots of photos and home movies. Only problem I had was my 2 year old compaq laptop wouldn't read the card through it's internal card slot. But, easily solved by putting it through another card reader that was compatible. I'm not sure what that was all about but whatever works.
Great value for the price May 30, 2008 I received this card since 2 days and I am using it with a Canon XSI. I consider it performing very well: fast transfer of photos to the PCs, smooth shoot in continuous mode with the XSI, the memory is very quickly erased...
Of course other cards will perform the same and better but I am not sure this will justify the price difference. I prefer to save some extra $ and buy either a second card or some accessories for my camera
I recommend it!

On a computer running at 3.2 Gig Hz, and using the built-in card reader, it took 27 minutes to write a 3.13 GB file.
Using a USB 2.0 port I wrote the same 3.13 GB to a portable 2.5" hard drive (generic)in just under 8 minutes.
While it is zippy with little files, it would take over an hour to put 8GB onto this card.
great value for the performance and capacity. May 27, 2008 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
Well it makes no difference, this 8GB SDHC card performs well. So far, playing around with it I've had not problems with it. Seems well built and on par with SanDisk and Kingston memory, seems to be a great value. Made in Taiwan, while SanDisk and Kingston are made in Japan.
I just popped the 8GB SDHC card into my camcorder and works like a charm. No noticeable difference, seems to perform just as well as the name brands.
works as expected. May 27, 2008 Works as expected. No problems using the card with my camera. I just inserted it into the SDHC slot, and never had to think about it again; just like it should be.
