but the bottom part seems not good for cooling, I dont know its my mbp's problem or the case just keeps the heat inside. But, after I took it off the heat problem seems getting much better.
The annoying thing is there always some dust getting into the case, cuz I got the clear one so its very easy to find out the dust between the case can laptop, so I have to take it off to clean it.
Overall, works as what it says.

This product is great. My mac is entirely protected on the outside, and the case doesn't ruin the aesthetic appeal of the mac. It does not inhibit the use of any ports or functions. It's only flaws are that is shows minor scratches (which I've found out the aluminum shell of the mac itself will do over a longer period of time), and it also tends to pop off a little on the right of the bottom piece.

I drag my MacBook Pro around everywhere and have been using the Hard Case for 10 months. The Speck See Thru cover takes a beating and still looks great. Some people complain they cannot open the computer completely but I don't find that to be the case. All the ports line up perfectly. I like it so much I bought another one for my husband. It is definitly worth the money for all the protection it affords.

I have recently upgraded to this new model.This is a new model with no fit issues. This model also has a cut-out to allow the pressing of the battery button. Speck got it all right with this new model. The top cover of the new model is also smooth giving this new model a better look, at least in my opinion.
Great Protector for MacBook Pro August 31, 2008
I'm a really big fan of this Speck case. It has really done a great job of protecting my Macbook Pro from getting scratched and otherwise beat up in my backpack, messenger, etc. There is only one downside to this cover that I can come up with. The lower part of the case towards the back of the machine has no hooks to hold in place so the corders seem loose sometimes. It hasn't been a problem, but I've noticed I have to put the laptop in my backpack with those ends facing out so they don't get caught by the bag.
