 Gets the job done. March 8, 2007
Does exactly the same thing as the $75 cable BestBuy pawned off to me when I bought my HD TV a few months ago. I bought 2 for $40, one for the Satellite box and the other for the DVD player, and returned the expensive one.
WHAT A CABLE SHOULD COST March 8, 2007
After purchasing my 56" DLP, I was presented an array of HDMI cables at the superstore ranging from $[...]. No way jose, I checked out AMAZON.com and came across this one. Slighlty skeptical simply due to the fact this cable is a fraction of the price, I ordered it. It works great. Good quality and no signal noise. This is what a cable should cost. The superstores are trying to make up for lost margins on the competeive price of TV's by selling add-on and related items with unreasonable mark-ups. If you are in the market for an HDMI cable, order this one!

I found no difference between this cable and the one I paid $40 to purchase at best buy. It worked great and I would purchase again from this vendor.

i see somewhat of a difference from my component cables. i'm glad i didn't pay an arm and a leg for it. they cable is a little loose though, so i'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing, but like i said the picture quality is fine, so i'm not to worried about it. if i need to buy another one i won't mind since i didn't spend that much.

I bought two for my cable box and my upconverting DVD player. They both work great! I had the $85 cable from Best Buy but I returned it b/c this cable has just as good of picture. I can't tell a difference between my component cables and the HDMI, but my DVD player will only upconvert over HDMI so I picked up the extra one for the cable box so I had less wires behind the TV and stereo.
