Customer Reviews:
Good, but not Perfect! August 6, 2008 The Golflogix GPS by Garmin 2007 model is a good product; however, there are issues such as: it goes through batteries like wild fire. Maybe 3 rounds on a pair of batteries, sometimes only 2 rounds. Rechargeable batteries a very good idea. Another issue is the time it takes to settle on a distance for your shot. The unit takes too much time to indicate the distance, meanwhile the rest of your group is waiting for you to take your shot--not really a time-saver. Also, my friend, standing next to me will have a markedly different distance on his Golflogix than I do--quite puzzling.
A really good buy August 4, 2008 The Garmin Golflogix GPS has everything you need for the golf course, and at really good price. It's easy to use, and only requires that you carry 2 extra AA batteries in case needed during a round.
GolfLogix 2007 Model Problem July 28, 2008 I purchased the 2007 Green model and received it April 1st. The main problem is picking up satellites consistently. I took a vacation to the PGA National Resort in Palm Beach, FL. Spent a lot of money on the vacation and had problems picking up a satellite on 2 of the courses. I contacted support which is supposed to be 24/7, but they contact after hours at my work number or during my work hours at my home number even after specifying where to call and when to call. They told me the 2007 model has had these problems and that I may need to get the 2008 model. My problem is still unresolved as it is very difficult to get in touch with customer service either on the phone or online in a timely manner.
gps July 23, 2008 Product performed as advertised. I find that it has helped my game considerably especially where there is trouble over the green.
Great Purchase July 21, 2008 This is the easiest thing to set up. Used it the same day I got it. Web site is easy to use. I really enjoy saving strokes not being short. It has all the courses I need here and in Florida.
