Why mess with the ending? February 22, 2008 A great movie I saw on cable and was ready to buy to watch again when I went to the US Open site and saw that Ouimet did win the playoff but not by a hanging put on 18. Why can't Hollywood believe that we appreciate reality and don't need a phony finale. They are just like the club members who offered his 10-year-old caddie (really) money for him to change caddies...if that was real!
The greatest game ever playred January 14, 2008 We have watched this movie on TV many times. It is a good movie. We just want to own the DVD, so we can watch it without commercial or miss some part of it.
Wonderful Movie January 8, 2008 You do not have to be a golf fan to enjoy this movie. It tells a great story that the whole family will like. Great characters and beautiful cinematography!
Great movie December 29, 2007 I have seen many golf movies but this is the best of the lot. This is a movie that is more than just for golfers. My wife even enjoyed it and she thinks that watching golf is about as exciting as watching paint dry. I would give it four and one half out of five.
A VERY good film! December 28, 2007 Too be honest, I had never heard of this film until I saw it on Netflix. There must have not been a lot of advertisement for it. But I will say that this film is perfect for families with great morals! I highly recommend it! And it's great for both men and women alike. It's not only about the sport of golf. So women will enjoy this film too!
