Healing The New Childhood Epidemics September 30, 2008 From: BasilAndSpice.com
Autism is at epidemic proportions. In the last 20 years it has grown by 1500%. In addition, ADHD, Asthma, and Allergies have also spiked.
Dr. Kenneth Bock, Co-Founder and Director of the Rhinebeck Health Center and the Center For Progressive Medicine, published a new book: Healing The New Childhood Epidemics--Autism, ADHD, Asthma, and Allergies.
Dr. Bock, famous for his treatment of children with autistic spectrum disorders, has made available to the public his Groundbreaking Program for the 4-A Disorders. Dr. Bock offers a safe, sensible, affordable solution, research, and an individualized biomedical program. He also explains the correlation between autism and the other metabolic disorders--Allergies, ADHD, and Asthma.
Dr. Bock offers hope to parents who struggle with these ongoing problems. "The new epidemics can be defeated. They are epidemics of metabolic dysfunction and toxicity, and they can be overcome by balancing the metabolism, and reversing that toxicity."
The Groundbreaking Program for the 4-A Disorders offers the reader important new information in nutritional therapy, supplementation therapy, detoxification, and medication.
Dr. Bock is listed as an resource by Jenny McCarthy in her book, Mother Warriors. There is hope and explanation within Healing the New Childhood Epidemics.

GAVE ME HOPE! September 26, 2008 I read this book shortly after I suspected my son was autistic. This gave me hope in midst of the hurricane.I still look through the book and learn something new each time. I must admit when I first read it somethings were in Doctors lingo and I didn't understand. Now that we are months into our journey I understand more and more of the book. I recommend it to everyone!
An MD writes a technical book engaging as a love story September 16, 2008 It is a love story about parents love of children and Dr Bock makes it live with real understanding of the cause and real stories of success. A very insightful and engaging work.
Finally...There is Hope September 13, 2008 Very, very well written. Dr. Bock understands the anguish from the standpoint of the child and the family and offers reasons and hope for this epidemic. Every pediatrician should read this book.
Excellent Perspective... September 7, 2008 Bock takes the views of millions of people across America on mandatory immunizations and re-enforces the belief that they cause more harm than good.
