5 out of 5 stars Fabulous guide   October 5, 2008

Very user friendly and easy to read. I wouldn't be using my Kindle without it.

5 out of 5 stars I've learned things I never would have on my own   September 26, 2008

I loved the Kindle from the moment I took off the wrappings, but had no idea what else it could do beside being a book until I read Stephen's book. And, he means it when he says "if you get stuck, send me an email." He responded to my pleas for help within minutes, and he got me 'un-stuck' more than once.

5 out of 5 stars Good reference material   September 17, 2008

Seems people either love this material or hate it. When I buy something new I try and find something to use besides what the owners' guide. The Kindle is a remarkable piece of hardware, and the author has listed a lot of things it can do not mentioned in the materials that Amazon makes available, which is quite good. The reason I decided to spend the money for the Kindle was to read, not trying to figure out all the side goodies in it. It is worth far more than the cost.

5 out of 5 stars Excellant book on the Kindle   September 16, 2008

Author provides simple instructions which will help you learn all that our mighty Kindle can do. Since I am far from being a computer guru the book has been just what I needed to learn to get the most from Kindle, without talking down to the reader.

5 out of 5 stars Definitely worth the money   September 16, 2008

This book was the first one I bought for my Kindle. I had figured out the basics about my Kindle, but this book helped me to learn to utilize my Kindle fully. It's actually the kind of book that Amazon should have included with the Kindle purchase. I'm pretty good with technology and gadgets, but who has the time to spend figuring out the finer point? This book explains the finer points for you. As a 12th grade English teacher, I'll be using my Kindle in class to store my lessons and texts, and I need to be thoroughly familiar with it--this book helped me with that. I really think _The Complete User's Guide to the Amazing Amazon Kindle_ is worth the money and will help anyone who doesn't have the time or inclination to work out the details themselves. Amazon, I think you're missing the boat: You should include this book on the Kindle already, and give Mr. Windwalker a healthy cut!
