Best since George Low April 7, 2008 This is an excellent technique. Unlike Dave Pelz, Utley's system -- which is very much like what George Low advocated, is for golfers who have a heartbeat and don't want to become machines. If everyone who plays golf tried this system, 90% would improve their putting, and the others were doing it already.
Helpful Guide March 28, 2008 I am rereading this book and it makes sense on a lot of levels. Have not been on the greens yet, but have practiced indoors. Very simple but effective ideas and photos help a lot too. Would obviously like to get a lesson with Stan in person, but this is a good substitute. Now it's time to practice what he preaches and incorporate into my putting game. Would recommend this book to anyone who has struggled with their putting.
stroke saver December 15, 2007 This book was easy to understand. Stan Utley made putting a part of the game you can look foward to. After I read this book I could not believe how many 6' putts went in. I know longer stress over a 3' putt & I also can read a green correctly. I highly recommend this book.
This changed my putting life October 17, 2007 This is, hands down, the best putting fundamentals book I've ever read. I'm not talking about the psychology of putting (check out Robert Winters or Bob Rotella for that). I've competed at the highest levels of the amatuer game and my putting has always been a drag on my scores. After reading this book and implementing the ideas, I've gone 15 rounds with only 2 three putts while my handicap dropped from a 1 to a +1. READ THIS BOOK.
Putt Like a Pro September 24, 2007 Why attempt to putt differently than the way you make a full swing--around, not straight back and through. Learn from the guru and watch your handicap fall.
