5 out of 5 stars The best book ever!!!!!!!!   June 17, 2008
4 out of 5 found this review helpful

This book is the best book ever. I would reccommend this book to anyone! You don't even have to like cats to like this book, it's so good! Anyone who likes cats, books, fantasy, or is just stuck without something to read will love this book! IT'S BETTER THAN HARRY POTTER!!!!!!!!!

5 out of 5 stars Complex and intriguing. I loved it.   June 15, 2008

Why did Stormfur and Brook come back?

I still do not trust Ashfur. I am certain he had something to do with the ending of "Sunset." He hates Brambleclaw. Why should he not hate Brambleclaw's children?

You also learn a bit more about Rock. These are some of the things in Outcast.

10 cats in this book will go and help the Tribe of Rushing Water. But does the Tribe of Endless Hunting approve?

This is a wonderful book.

It is not hard to read it over and over and over! I enjoyed it too much. but yet, it must not be too much. Hollypaw,(My fave of the three: Hollypaw, Jaypaw, and Lionpaw) does go hammering on how much she wants to be leader.

5 out of 5 stars Outcast: A Journey to be Remembered   June 14, 2008

Upon receiving Outcast, it was so good I devoured it within a day. The plot was very creative and well-thought out, and the character development was splendid.
Jaypaw, Hollypaw, and Lionpaw all feel a force pulling them towards the mountains. Jaypaw is eager to discover the secrets of the ancient cats from Dark River, Hollypaw wants to see the different ways of Tribe life, and Lionpaw finds himself yearning to see territories outside the lake. When two Tribe cats come back in search of Stormfur and Brook's help, the three apprentices have their chance, and they jump for it! To their surprise, the warriors decide to let them go. The rest blends into a wonderful tale as slowly, each of the three find what they are looking for among the Tribe.
I loved this book for many reasons. One, the fact that the journey did not start at the beginning of the book didn't matter, since irritating characters kept it interesting. Two, the character development was great. You really get to see insight on why the characters are the way they are, and follow them as it changes. Three, the final battle scene was amazing. I was literally on the edge of my chair and I read through Lionpaw's account. And four, the cliffhanger (sort of) at the end was an interesting twist. (If you're wondering, what makes it a cliffhanger is the fact that you don't get to see the others' reactions.)
So all in all, Outcast was great. I would DEFINITELY recommend it and I will DEFINITELY still feel the same emotions coursing through me when I read it again. Outcast is awesome; get it now!

5 out of 5 stars Outstanding!   May 25, 2008

This book is one of the best from the Power of Three. It has a lot more views from each of the Three (Jaypaw,Hollypaw, and Lionpaw).
it was a little, just a little slow in the middle, but the story made sense and it made much of their destinies clearer. Any readers out there will not be dissapointed with this book.
