 A waste of reading October 23, 2008
I enjoyed the secret way better. This book felt like it needed to be desperately sold I like to make a comment on the topic of forgiveness. He makes it sound so easy. Forgiveness is a process and everyone has their own timing and choice when they choose to forgive. I sensed that the author still has major issues with himself. What also turned me off was his quote"Do it my way and you'll succeed" Meaning if you dont think like me everyone is dumb. I got this book at the library and read one chapter and returned it. It is such an unpopular book nobody reads it at the library. More people read the secret because at least you are hearing many people's perspective not just one arrogant one. In fact the secret would be better if you omit James ray. Poor editing in his book. dont waste your time it's worth reading a book from someone who is at least college educated and truly writes from the soul.

I have read 3 Ray books in a row. Each got better and more dialed in as I went. Harmonic wealth brought it all together. He truly is a rockstar guru of personal tranformation and growth. I love his line "if we are not growing, we're dying". THat is so true. I met him the other day and I said to him as I shook his hand - "I have very interested in finding "balance"..." he said "balance is bogus, Ill teach you "harmony"." THe first page in the book says that very thing...this book was right on time for me. There is a lot of wisdom in this book. If we put it to work, we can unlock the door to a truly adundant life in all areas.

I have never read a book like this ever. I read a lot of self-help books and this one is really over the top. I thoroughly enjoyed the open and different views about God and the different perspectives James offered. His ideas to prosper are profound and eye opening. He gets your attention from the first page and you don't want to put it down. He helps you to realize that there are five areas you must work on continously to make your life truly meaningful. I bought the book for financial purposes, I got that and much more. I recommend it to anyone with an open mind and a desire to improve their life in every way.

Practical tools, no-hold-barred style September 20, 2008
James has done a great job of pulling together information and strategies that will help spark success in all areas of your life. I particularly like the focus on the five pillars of success--the idea that we need to attend to all of the key areas of our lives to achieve "true wealth." James has a no-holds-barred style that may not appeal to everyone--the periodic profanity and "in your face" statements may not resonate with all readers, but on the other hand it may feel "real" and motivational for others. As with any book, I always think it's best to "take what you like and leave the rest." The book is a good overview--doesn't get into great depth on any one topic--but it serves as a wonderful starting point for understanding--and applying--sound success principles and law of attraction concepts.
