 Buy it TWO sizes bigger than your usual size! July 13, 2008
I've purchased lots of stuff from Newport News before. Their catalog is chock full of some of the most stylish of-the-moment fashions that you can find, but they always seem to run small. I know from experience to swallow my pride and order two sizes larger on any fitted garment!
That being said -- this is one gorgeous dress, and to my astonishment, it is available in petite sizes. It's beautifully flowy and floaty -- so light, but it's like wearing two dresses in one.
I love this dress and wear it with brown or gold sandals. It certainly makes a statement! I love it!
 REALLY cheap looking and flimsy June 27, 2008
I wasn't expecting much for the price, but Newport dresses are the cheapest, flimsiest garments I've ever encountered! Other reviewers mention they run small and they do, but by TWO OR THREE SIZES. These remind me of that paper dress fad from the 1960s, only paper dresses were much sturdier and better made!

This dress was poor quality, also did not fit me. I returned it over 2 weeks ago, I still have not received my refund. I am not heppy!!!

I really enjoy this dress. The only thing about this dress is that the sizes run small. I thought I could fit in a size 10 but come to see that I cant. I was so sad couse I wanted to wear it that same day for a party I was going to . But I am happy with it. I truly recomend it.

This 'must-have' dress is lightweight and wispy. Two connected dresses-in-one flow from the waist and make a feminine statement. A beautiful dress that's affordable, comfortable, as well as fun!
