Stong, solid, slightly flexible plastic. My kids love it! Much safer than the wooden seat that I had cut out of plywood for them.

This disk appears to be well made and looks fine.I have it hanging from a tree limb. My daughters use it and like it.Maybe a bit pricey for what you get but hopefully it lasts many years
