For those of you concerned with plastic water bottles, there is an alternative! This stainless steel drinking bottle is a re-usable, lightweight, container that does not leach toxins into its contents. If you are concerned about the plastic sports top, we offer a stainless steel cap.

4 out of 5 stars Good overall, won't fit bottle cage on bike, hard to open top   October 4, 2008

The product works as advertised. I bought it mainly to replace all of the bottled water that we seem to buy and refillable plastic bottles we have with BPA's. I fill up this bottle before local shopping trips, or jaunts in the car or on the bike. I keep it in the fridge and grab it and go. I also set it in a shady spot in the yard while working outside. The spout is hard to open and close and seems very cheaply made for the bottle, plus it doesn't let air in as you drink and you almost have to suck the water out. Unscrew the cap off and your good to go. That's the way I do it most of the time. The bottle sweats quite a bit with cold water, but I expected that. I will not be putting it on my desk or any wood surfaces at home. Not a problem for me. The 1 liter capacity is just right for me, but I will be buying other family members this bottle in the smaller size (.6 liter) as they don't chug quite as much water as I do. I very much like the idea that I'm not adding another plastic bottle to the landfills. That is the overriding positive about this bottle. I would recommend this product and the companies products in general. Good quality except for that plastic spout.

The only problem I had with this product is that it sweats and it is hard to get the water out of the spout. Other than that it is great knowing I am keeping plastic bottles out of our landfills!

4 out of 5 stars Great Water Bottle   October 2, 2008

This is a great water bottle. The water tastes super fresh and clean. I drink a lot of water so I love the larger 1 liter size. The design makes it easy to hold. The downfall is how badly it sweats! I love my water very cold and when I fill it with ice...sweat! sweat! sweat! Then the ice melts quickly. Now I'm searching for a insulator. Also, had to switch around the little air hole plug so I could drink from the sports spout. Other than those 2 things...I love it! Have 2 at home and 1 at work. :)

5 out of 5 stars Excellent Stainless Water Bottle   September 30, 2008

This is exactly the same type of bottle Kobe Bryant used at the Olympics in Beijing. His of course was gold. Since we couldn't find one in gold we got this very excellent stainless steel. Plenty big enough...and amazingly...even though it is not a thermos...it keeps the water or other liquid colder longer.

3 out of 5 stars enviro stainless bottle   September 28, 2008

I thought I liked the design of the Enviro bottle. However, the lip of the bottle is quite wide, so I usually have to pour the liquid into a glass to drink out of it. The plastic cap is rather flimsy, so one should invest in the stainless steel cap. Also, I keep getting a metallic taste when drinking out of it, even though I wash it out with water and baking soda.
