 The Closest Shave You'll Ever Know July 8, 2008
I have to say that this is my first time using shaving soap and I couldn't be happier. Colonel Conk's was an excellent choice and it really helps keep your skin nice and hidrated as you shave. The lather remains nice and thick and I really have to recommend the Bay Rum smell. It is the way that a man should smell. Use this shaving soap along with a safety razor or if you prefer a straight razor and you will not be disappointed. My face was left looking clean and smooth and I really enjoy the experience now. You truly get the closest shave that you'll ever know, in the words of Sweeney Todd.

Been using Col. Conk's shaving soap for years and the only problem I've run into is deciding which scent to buy. Great product, ya can't go wrong!!!

The only complaint I have with this product is that the smell doesn't stick around as long as I'd like! Of course, this isn't a defect of the product at all, as it's shaving soap, not an after-shave of any kind.
It's simply and effectively packaged in thin plastic; if you're worried about how sleek your bathroom looks, you'll want to drop it into a separate tub of some sort.
The soap works up a pretty good lather reasonably easily. While this is my first Cake o' Shaving Soap, I am happy with it, and would recommend it to others.

Great transaction, I'm loving using a brush and shave soap. Much closer, next purchase is going to be a DE razor.
