Nice for the Price! September 3, 2008
I needed a Battery Box for my newly ordered 104 amp hour PVX-1040T Concorde Sun Xtender 12 volt Solar Battery. This battery weighs in at 69 pounds! So I was hoping all would be strong enough to support this heavy battery.

The Battery Box is durable, light weight, and strong enough to support this Series 27 battery with room to spare. I had no trouble lowering the battery into the battery box.
Inside of Battery Box top has an auto type plug-in fuse installed (easy to find a replacement fuse if ever needed), a long enough red and black cable lead that connects to the battery. Included were 2 bolts, and 4 washers. The top also has a 12 volt socket built in. Worked out perfect for my Solar application.
[] Connect the red and black cables to your battery, close the battery box top and use the included heavy duty strap to tighten up around the entire box case.
[] Nifty little flat type button on top that you press to see battery status is a nice plus. Push button down and 4 round LED type bulbs light up:
O Red O Red O Yellow O Green = a fully charged battery.
[] Battery box has two side vents (see photo near side handles.)
[] Handles are sturdy and a must for two handed lifting with this 69 pound battery inside.
Works great for my Solar Panel application.
