About Coleman
The Coleman Company has been creating and innovating products for recreational outdoor use since W.C. Coleman started selling gasoline-powered lanterns in 1900. Inventor of the hugely popular fold-up camp stove, Coleman developed a plastic liner for his galvanized steel coolers in 1957--the birth of the modern cooler--and the company has been improving their utility and design ever since. The array of products that bear the Coleman name now includes just about everything you might need to work or play outdoors, from tents and sleeping bags to boats, backpacks, and furniture.

4 out of 5 stars review   August 9, 2008
Great & inexpensive inflatable raft - use it on the Yaak River with the grand kids for rafting and fishing. It's great that it comes with 4 oars - kids have that keen ability to lose an oar overboard. I purchased this raft without the dual air pump by Coleman. Big mistake. I have since ordered the pump and love it. It sure beats the other pumps I use -hand, foot and electrical.

4 out of 5 stars Fun 2 person boat   August 5, 2008
Finally got to take the boat out. First of all, ya gonna need bigger oars, secondly we are somewhat small people and don't think we could've squeezed two more people on this boat comfortably. Was on the river and what people pay to rent a canoe, we had bought this for the same. Would like to find someway to sit up a bit higher and to find a protective liner for those really shallow parts of rivers. Great fun and would recommend that pump, it only took less than a minute to inflate but my car tire pump didn't have it aired up in almost 2 hours.

4 out of 5 stars nice 2 person boat   August 4, 2008

This is a very nice boat. It has three inflatable compartments: bottom, inside, and outside. Feels safe. Looks very cute too. My kids love it. It is however very far from 'colossus'. The wings in the back artificially increase its length while shortening internal sitting space. I doubt that 3 ppl can fit sitting inside. Even 2 adults and 1 child is unrealistic. I mean it (I tried it). 1 adult and 1 child sounds optimal. Even with the wings the boat looks tiny. If 4 ppl sit on the sides they will most likely let water inside. There is a bit of false advertisement there, therefore the four stars.

The oars look cheap but out of 8 oars we had NONE broken after a 5-hour trip. The key is to keep them screwed together tightly at all times. We went around and checked from time to time, because they have a tendency to get unscrewed when you paddle.

Overall wonderful boat for the price.

4 out of 5 stars Very sturdy for the price.   August 2, 2008
We just returned from a camping trip on Monarch Lake, CO and used this raft with great success! I would say it's worth every penny. Don't forget to buy PFD's, especially if children are using it.

5 out of 5 stars Great deal...   July 16, 2008
Real tough construction. Took this thing to the beach for a week with our four children. It was played with all week..It held up very well to the beating teenagers can dish out..Great item.
