Editorial Reviews:

Amazon.com Product Description
Dynamic styling, refined details, and overall sophistication distinguish this handsome mid-sized watch from Invicta. The polished steel case which is 42 mm in diameter and 11 mm thick, showcases a blue multi-function dial with luminous hands (plus a sweep second hand) and silver-tone roman numeral markers. Three blue and white subdials display day, date, and hour. The dial sports the Invicta "wings" logo. The watch presents on a comfortable 20 mm wide, steel link bracelet, made up of polished pieces and finished with a fold over push button clasp. Swiss quartz precision drives this handsome watch, which is rated water resistant to 50 meters.

4 out of 5 stars Nice Watch For The Money   September 27, 2008
I give this watch four stars instead of five for two reasons. One, the "sapphire crystal" is actually a sapphire COATED mineral crystal (check the back of the watch). Sapphire, or sapphire coated crystals will resist scratching MUCH better than mineral crystals. It also adds to the price of the watch. Two, the subdials are very small and hard to read. Other than that, it is well worth the money. The band is true 316L stainless steel. It's a medium size watch at about 42 mm, including the crown. It weighs in at about 148 grams. I like big watches. Most of mine are 45-50 mm and over 250 grams, so this one is a nice change. Small enough for thinner wrists, but large enough to be noticed. Mine came with an instuctional manual that shows exactly how to set all the subdials. The subdial at the six o'clock position can be used to tell 24 hour time, or can be set for a second time zone. Easy to adjust to whichever you prefer. The dial will change color depending upon the light source, but to me, that's an added bonus. For money paid ($80) you can't beat the value. I would recommend this watch to anyone who asks.

4 out of 5 stars attractive, durable, heavy   September 5, 2008
crystal does not scratch easily, holds time well (within 1 min after 6 months), its heavy and well made, band is comfortable and easy to adjust.

Could use a better manual, and hard to read at night.

4 out of 5 stars OK Watch   August 25, 2008
Calendar meters are a little small to read. Other features are ok. Time is pretty accurate.

2 out of 5 stars Like the watch, have issues with how it works, detest service   August 8, 2008

I purchased this watch as a Christmas gift last year. A+ to Amazon for their shipping, handling and all round transaction.

I really love the look of the watch. It is just the right size and weight for me. I really like the color as well. That's the ONLY reason I gave it 2 stars.

There are complaints about the weight and I found it perfect. The common complaint about the dial size was another issue. Personally I was fine with the size of it.

But I should have taken the "LOSE TIME" complaint seriously. I started having issues with the watch after a couple weeks. But it quickly went away and I was OK until about a month ago. I called Invicta and explained the problem and was told to replace the battery. That never fixed the problem so I called Invicta again to have the watch repaired.

Their policies are a JOKE. I had to spend $6 to replace a battery on their recommendation, $8 to ship it to them and they will then bill me a further $20 to ship it back. So basically I paid $90 for a watch and I'm in the process of spending over $30 to have a manufacturer's defect repaired. To make it worse, it will be about 2 to 3 months before I get my watch back.

I called customer service and spoke to a manager about my complaint and he basically said it's policy, and "too bad."

I really like the look of the watch, but I wished I never bought the watch, and will likely sell it or give it away when I get it back. I recommend looking elsewhere.

4 out of 5 stars Good watch for the money....   July 15, 2008
Bought the watch on one of Amazons friday sales and am happy with the watch so far. I'v read the other reviews and agree that the watch is rather thick a bit difficult to see the small dials on the front but overall an attractive watch for little money. If you are looking for a Rolex this is not the watch for you if you are looking for a nice watch that looks great buy this one.
P.s. saw this watch for sale in a store in New Mexico for $ 145 i paid less ($ 59 on Amazon) the list price they claim of $475 is not realistik at all.
