| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description A nimble performer for technical terrain, the New Balance Men's MT800 Trail Running Shoe is light, durable, and coddles the foot with excellent cushioning and compression properties. The synthetic and mesh upper is both durable and highly breathable, an ideal combination when faced with a thousand feet of vertical gain with a hot sun overhead. Underfoot the New Balance Men's MT800 Trail Running Shoe is not quite as protective as some other models (for example the MR873). But that means it's probably a couple ounces lighter, a trade-off that makes good sense for many endurance athletes, whether competitive or recreational. The New Balance MT800 does, however, offer exceptional cushioning, with Abzorb pads in the heel and forefoot to make sure these high impact zones don't suffer as the miles stack up. The outsole is comprised of two specially formulated compounds, N Grip anti-slip technology rubber and Ndurance rubber in high wear areas.
Amazon.com Product Description This sneaker is all-terrain! Your adventures should never be limited and the MT800 shoe from New Balance proves just that. It's ultra-lightweight and is fully equipped to keep you protected, comfortable, and not to mention, looking really good!

| Customer Reviews:
Comfortable fit - great design September 8, 2008 This is the first time I've ever purchased shoes online, and I have to say it was a good first experience! Good thing I listed to other reviews regarding the fact this model runs a tad small. I'm usually a size 9, but I purchased a size 9.5 and it fit perfectly. The shoe is very comfortable and I put it to the test immediately by hiking/jogging on some rugged trails in Wisconsin and it came through beautifully. I definitely recommend this shoe!

Very comfortable but snug shoe. Like wearing socks with treads. Good for trail running or hiking.
