Using a flexible tape measure, start from the center of the horse's chest and measure around the widest part of the hindquarter to the side of the tail. If the measurement is in between the sizes, use the next highest measurement. Nice Blanket for the Price! January 9, 2007

I live at 7000 ft elevation, in the pines, and winter often comes overnight, with a drop in temp of 15-20 degrees, without much warning. I bought this blanket for 2 of my 3 horses, and received it promptly, just in time for the abrupt beginning of winter. My horses have worn it every day since November, and it is holding up very nicely. The criss cross belly straps hold it in place nicely; the front buckles are easy once broken in a little, and backed up by velcro to keep the front together. The leg straps are good also-I only wish they snapped at the rear instead of inside, for more ease with gloves on. The blanket comes down over the dock of the tail and low on the sides and has gussets at the shoulders for more freedom of movement. My horses seem very comfy in this blanket-sometimes my mustang even runs away when he realizes I want to take his blanket off! Also, there is virtually no static caused by this blanket-another big plus! I have already recommended this blanket to friends of mine! Nice product-even nicer price!
