 Didn't work for the type of dog I had problems with August 17, 2008
I purchased this because of my neighbors dog constant barking. The main barker was a full bull mastiff. She was a puppy, about 11 months old and a good 110lbs and growing daily. She just barks for no reason and it's loud and very annoying. I spoke to the neighbor and they purchased a bark collar for her. It never worked and I always thought they just weren't doing it right.
So I bought the dog daser in hopes I could train her myself. The first time I used it, she looked around to see what it was and went crazy barking because she couldn't figure it out. Then after using it a few more times she would just ignore it (or isn't hearing it right)
I even stuck it right up to her forehead and she just looked at me like...what on earth are you doing? Can I eat that?? lol
I did use it on another dog (yellow lab) on the other side neighbor. She tilted her head trying to figure out what the noise was and ran away.
I did notice that every time I hit the button, my own cats would come to me. Very strange.
I can't really say if it works because it just didn't work for me. For me it was a waste of money.

This product works a little bit on my own dogs....however, it seems to work great for some dogs that friends own. As with some of the other reviews, you have a 50% chance of it working on your dog....each dog is different on how they will respond!
Worked for a few days August 12, 2008
Most of the time when my neighbors come home and slam the door my dogs go crazy with their barking (We live in an apt builing). I was really surprised that the Dazer II stopped my two small dogs from barking but unfortunately that was only for the first few days. It no longer seems to work. Some of the reviews about Dazer II said to be patient but after a few weeks of trying I have stopped. I just got a squirt bottle and squirt them with water and that seems to get their attention and stop them from barking. I am hoping that they associate the word "quiet" to the squirts soon so that I will no longer need to squirt them in the future. Fingers crossed...
 No more barking dog August 5, 2008
If I went into my own backyard and the neighbors dog was out, he started to bark non stop. Now I just point the Dog Dazer II at the dog, press the button and the dog heads for the back door to get in the house. Works great!

Our neighbor's dog barks at us every time we walk down the sidewalk in our side yard to throw away trash, take out the trash, go out the gate to the front yard...BARK, BARK, BARK!!! She would even bark occasionally if she heard us in our house with the windows open!!
In desperation I researched barking deterrents on the internet and found the Dog Dazer II and hoped it would be our way stop the barking once and for all without resorting to a confrontation with the neighbor, or worse.
At first, I thought I had wasted the money on the purchase. She just kept barking. Once even so viciously I thought she was going to come through the fence! I just kept trying each and every time I went down the sidewalk. Pulsing the Dazer for one second..off for about three seconds.
Well, after about a week of still thinking I had wasted my money, suddenly the bark turned to a growl. I would do extra training by moving the trashcans around (a noise that she was always freak out at) and just when she'd start to bark, I'd press the button and the bark would turn to a growl.
Once in awhile we still get a growl, but more often there is no sound at all. I AM SO HAPPY!! I don't dread going outside anymore! That dog was getting out of control and now I am in control thanks to the Dog Dazer II.
So the moral of this story is, be patient...and hopefully your patience will pay off with SILENCE!
