If you have hooks placed on a wall, tree or beam, the hanging distance needs to be between 8.5 ft and 9 ft 10 in and it will be very easy to hang this hammock. Otherwise, you will need a hanging strap system, which allows you to hang your hammock virtually anywhere and between far apart posts or trees.
