The hard disk fits perfectly well including its usb cable. Very cute color (I got the pink one) and prevents the hard disk from getting scratches. Just wished the case was a bit sturdier but no problem so far.

This case provides an exact fit for a WD Passport USB drive and it holds the drive suspended inside without contacting either of the drive's flat surfaces. This design provides extra shock protection. but leaves the case noticably thicker than the drive. I was also pleasantly surprised to find that the sides of the case are a little stiffer than I had expected.
Inside there is a mesh net pocket that will hold the USB cable to prevent it from scratching the face of the drive housing as you move. (I purchased the "Elite" version of this USB drive, and its "non-slip" finish is very easily scratched, even when removing it from the original packaging.)
Overall, the quality of this case is approximately equal to the zippered Victorianox cases in this size range.

The case arrived very quickly after being ordered with standard shipping.

I got this case in baby pink to coordinate with my drive (WD Passport Portable WDXMSE2500 - Hard drive - 250 GB - external - 2.5" - Hi-Speed USB - 5400 rpm - buffer: 2 MB - metallic pink). The drive fits into the case perfectly and the accessory pocket accomodates the short USB cable nicely.

While it offers adequate protection for my hard drive, I think the case could be just a little bit stronger. It is relatively easy to get the case to give when pressing down on it with my thumb. But it is perfectly fine for everyday use, such as in a bag - just don't step on it :-)

The exterior hook is great to fasten the case to a belt or secure it inside a bag or a backpack.

All in all worth the $10 expense.
