Even lighter than most ball caps, it weighs only about 4 ounces. A total of 4 British Brass Grommetts provide great ventilation and a classy look! A chinstrap and a backstrap holds your hat on no matter which way the wind blows. There is also a secret pocket for your valuables. This hat is so special it comes with a 4-page Owner's Manual! Brim Measurements: Front and Back: 3 1/2" Sides: 2 1/2". The crown is 4 3/8" high. I am quite delighted with my Tilley hat. The fit and comfort is just perfect and I look forward to using it when touring or walking. I am particularly pleased that I was able to order an extra large hat to fit my rather large skull. I am so pleased with the hat that I plan to order Tilley hats for members of my family.
