I really like this jacket! It keeps me very warm and the fuzzy pockets are a definite bonus on cold mornings. One problem I faced is that the shoulders are a little bulkier than I want and so I end up with kind of an odd shape when I wear the coat. Over all I would buy it again in a heart beat! You can't beat this price!

This jacket is just as the description sounds. The price was great for the quality received. I originally bought the jacket for a snow trip and it worked perfectly. The inner part is made of a sweater- like material which blocked the snow and kept the warmth in. The only thing I could complain about is that the jacket runs a little small. I am normally a small in almost all clothes. For this jacket, I wish I had gone with the medium for more room. Thanks for the great product New Balance!

This jacket was bought by my boyfriend for me as a surprise, and i was surprised. Totally cool jacket, very warm, tons of pockets, and looks great!

Nice coat! It doesn't have the red tones shown in the picture at all. Instead it's a white background with various width gray plaid stripes crisscrossing, black where they intersect. There's a small terracotta colored thread within the pattern. Fairly low key and trendy.
It's not one of the big huge fluffy down coats, I prefer the lightweight+compact fill, and it has plenty of warmth. Note that the fur around the hood is fake, thank goodness. The hood also detaches.
I love the handy inner pockets, and the zip closures on the big side pockets. There's a little pocket within a pocket on the side for keys. The main pockets are lined with soft warm fleece.
Seems to be well made, no problems so far. I haven't tried washing it, it may even be dry clean, I haven't had to check that yet.
** One thing, this coat is cut on the slim side, mainly over the hips. It's a bit tight across the chest as well, but that has always been a problem area for me.
Worth the money February 6, 2008
I am so glad I purchased this coat. Feels really light weight. It is extremely warm. It feels great. It was worth every penny. Although I got this coat on sale, I am extremely pleased with my purchase. It was definately worth more. I would buy a New Balance coat again if they made them all this comfortable.
