good jacket, but a little warm June 26, 2008 I bought this jacket for a volunteer work trip in Costa Rica, during the rainy season there. It was perfect for the heavy rains, but was a little warm! Plus, I had bug spray and sunscreen on my arms, so the jacket stuck a little, but that's not the jacket's fault. :) For the price, the jacket was great and well suited for the trip. And, the sage/green color is great.
very thin March 28, 2008 This was a good cheap deal for a Columbia jacket, however the jacket itself is very thin material and pretty much only good if you're looking for something waterproof either in the summer or with some warm humid rains.
Best Windbreaker ever March 27, 2008 I received this windbreaker not too long ago, and it's fabulous. The geranium color is beautiful, and it's the perfect weight. It's great for wind and light showers. When I'm not wearing it, I can scrunch it up in a tight little roll, and stuff it down in my handbag. When I need it again, I can pull it out, and it's none worse for the wear. Thanks.
lining wasn't what I had hoped for March 25, 2008 I ordered this windbreaker because it was on sale and I thought it had a different type of lining. I had a windbreaker from the early 90's that was lined and I loved it, but it is now ripped. I hoped this would be a good replacement. It is well made and looks fine, it just wasn't quite what I thought it would be. It is definitely a good value for what I paid for it, but I would not have purchased it if it hadn't been on sale. The sizes are a little on the small side.
Rain...Rain...Go Away! February 16, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
If you are looking for a jacket to keep you warm, this is not the jacket. If you are looking for a nice looking jacket to ward off wind and rain, then this is your jacket. I chose the green one for spring and am delighted with it. The green is less intense in person and I am very pleased with the item.
