Customer Reviews:

2 out of 5 stars Uncomfortable, improper sizing, cheap quality   July 26, 2008
Oakley's sunglasses are renowned for their quality and innovation. I assumed that Oakley would put as much emphasis on this into their golf footwear, but I was mistaken.

The shoe laces can cut into your hands, causing blisters. The neck of the shoes are inflexible, which can dig into your ankles when you're walking or going through a swing. The soles are stiff like rocks, and the leather upper is not very flexible. The worst part is that the sizing is totally off. A size 12 medium width Bow Tye Two is like a size 13-13.5 medium for many of the popular golf shoes.

Oakley's customer service is also extremely poor. Their operators are impatient with customers and not very knowledgeable about their products. One woman spoke with a tone that made her sound like she couldn't care less about Oakley. They take at least 6 weeks to process returns (from the time they receive the merchandise). I highly recommend NOT buying products directly from Oakley but instead to find an alternative authorized dealer/retailer such as an Oakley Vault/retail store or Zappos.com

Pros: The Bow Tye Two did come with a spike wrench (worth about $1-$2), and I liked the fake snake-skin styling near the middle of the upper.

Cons: Improper and way oversized fit, cheap finish, horrible shoe laces, uncomfortable.

Bottom line is that these are overpriced, uncomfortable, and poorly designed golf shoes. I love Oakley eyewear but if you ever run into any problems, you may get the run-around with Oakley's substandard customer service.
