Very good for the price July 17, 2008 These twist-to-fit in-ear headphones didn't need the twist part for me. With the enclose foam covers they wedged in perfectly and I found them to be very comfortable and they stay in place on walks or working around the house without having to constantly push them back in.
The cord is a bit long but I hang the wires down my back so that doesn't bother me.
The sound quality is not the best but for the $15 price tag you can't go wrong.
The last thing was the description seemed to indicate there was a volume control but mine didn't have that. Otherwise, it looks pretty much like the picture.
got the cheap ones July 14, 2008 Fast shipping but i am disappointed in quality of the headphones. They sound what u get from radio shack. I do not know if the more expensive ones are better. But the cheap ones suck.
Poor sound quality July 14, 2008 This is definitely a low end product. It is not that much different from the standard issued headphones that comes with your IPOD. Don't waste your money.
Close, but no cigar July 14, 2008 These buds are OK. They sound good, and they fit the ear as advertised, but they have one feature that I find very annoying: the cables to the left and right buds are not of equal length. One side is about a foot longer than the other side.
There may be a perfectly logical reason for this... maybe it's designed for people who mount a player on a bicep... but that's not the way I carry my player, so the cable length is obnoxious.
Great for the Gym July 8, 2008 I can't really call myself an audiophile but I am more of a headphone/earphone junkie. I've got a bunch of them that I use at various times but I never really had one that would stay in my ear when I'm sweating buckets at the gym.
Then I stumbled across these while looking for gym headphones and since I already own a Sennheiser EH-150, I was pretty sure I could trust Sennheiser to make a good product. And that trust was certainly not misplaced. These headphones are the best things possible for the gym.
PROS: 1. They stay in your ear no matter how much you move or sweat. 2. They aren't overly expensive 3. They have a neat carrying case and shirt clip 4. They can be custom fitted to your ear thanks to the different pads etc that are provided 5. They have well balanced sound 6. They feel like they'll last a while even with rugged use
CONS: 1. Bass is a little on the low side 2. Putting it on the right way and getting it to stay there might be take a few tries for some people 3. For the overly fashion oriented -- they're bright green
Overall, a great set of earphones that should be a part of every gym kit of you ask me (whether you like green or not). If you're looking for headphones that stay in your ear when you work out/jog then look no further.
