Amazon.com Product Description With the affordable black ionic-plated Invicta Pro Diver stainless steel men's watch, you can still afford to buy flippers and a pair of goggles. It features a shock-resistant, precise Swiss quartz movement that will stand up to the rigors of your undersea adventures, and it's water resistant to 200 meters (660 feet). It's topped by a silver unidirectional rotating bezel with embossed elapsed time markings and scalloped edges for a firm grip even with diving gloves. The black dial includes large Tritnite luminous markers and hands (with seconds hand) and a magnified date window at 3 o'clock with a magnifier. Other features include a black ionic-plated stainless steel bracelet band, secure fold-over safety clasp, and an anti-reflective mineral crystal. Tritnite is a luminous material with an extended glow exclusively developed by Invicta in Switzerland and added to their timepiece hands and markers. When exposed to regular daylight, it will hold its glow for about 20 hours. About Invicta Latin for "invincible," Invicta was founded in La Chaux-de-fonds, Switzerland in 1837 by Raphael Picard, who believed that fine Swiss timepieces could be offered at modest prices. For more than a century, the company has created distinctive manual and automatic-winding pieces. In 1991, descendants of the Picard family reaffirmed the company's founding principle, and the invigorated Invicta has been growing ever since with one of the most widely diverse collections of precise Swiss timepieces on the market.

Beware of good looks August 20, 2008 My mistake, I'm old enough to know better. Got a ritzy gift box. Inside a very nice looking watch with a suspicious sticker with chinese characters. After a couple of days the "precision quartz swiss movement" fell behind about 10 seconds a day, even my 25 bucks worn down Timex does better than that! Went to the manufacturer's web-site, and after strugling with a lengthy registration process involving 2 garbled case-sensitive digits readout finally got a service case #. Now came shipping the watch to Florida, and despite the guarantee, included the $25 they demand for "return postage and insuring". This all happened early July and by the end of August I'm still relying on my old trusty Timex.
Great watch and a bargain June 27, 2008 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
The watch came in a nice yellow box, with plastic wrapping covering the outside, indicating it is brand new without a scratch on it. The silvery crown is more shiny than on the picture, but I like it better this way. All parts of the watch tells that it is a quality piece, heavy and well carved. Now come the function part. It did keep the time reasonablly well, a bit less than 2 seconds slower each day, a little more diviation than I expected, but I can live with that. The real complaint I have is the length of the band, I will have to have it adjusted before it really fit. Why can't they make the length of band fit average people in the factory, and include a few links for those who need them?
Very Nice June 9, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Got this watch during Lighting deal in the Gold Box last week. For the price, it is great. Very nice face and dial. I personally really like the black with the stainless bezel. Date is very easy to read. Not bulky or heavy at all. Not sure what the hand material and markers are, but many Invicta watches use it. The sun charges up the hands and markers, so it has a glow to it in the dark, just fades longer it's in the dark, but overall it's pretty nice feature.
I'm happy.
