 Quick and easy way to get protein July 30, 2008
These were recommended to my by my nutritionist. I recently had gastric bypass surgery, and it is very difficult to get in the daily 60 grams of protein my body needs when my stomach is now smaller than my fist. These are not a complete protein-they are not good for a meal replacement, more as a supplement. They aren't the best tasting thing out there either, but the flavor is tolerable, and they only take a few seconds to consume.

I don't mix it with anything, I just drink it straight from the bottle. A little syrupy, but sweet and good tasting. Easiest way to get 42 grams of protein (two swallows), and only 150 some calories!

Since I had a gastric bypass it's been tough getting in all my protein. This liquid whey protein is just what I need to get it all in. I mix it in my water bottle and it tastes great. I highly recommend it.
