Amazon.com Product Description Consisting of the Cozumel mask, Seabreeze Dry snorkel, and Proflex II fins, this bundle from U.S. Divers is a must for recreational snorkelers of all stripes. The Seabreeze Dry snorkel hails from U.S. Divers' Sport Rec series, which is distinguished by its high-quality PVC mouthpieces and large bore barrel designs. More significantly, the snorkel features a dry top structure that keeps splashed water out while maintaining an unobstructed airflow. As a result, you needn't worry about filling your lungs with water each time a fellow swimmer kicks up a bit. Other details include a classic contoured shape for style and comfort, a quick-release snorkel keeper, and an easy-clear purge valve. The Cozumel mask, meanwhile, fits kids ages 10 and up and most adults, and is distinguished by such features as a two-window lens with a clear frame for maximum light entry and an easy-adjust buckle system. The Proflex II fin--which features a long blade with dual-composite fin rails for enhanced snap and thrust--finishes off the bundle. Snorkelers will love the fin's enclosed heel and soft foot pocket, which provides a snug and comfortable fit. And thanks to the contemporary design and metallic blue color, users can rest assured that no other snorkeler will look as good on the beach or at the dock. While the snorkel and mask are one size fits all, the fin comes in five sizes: S (5 to 6-1/2), M (6-1/2 to 8), M/L (8 to 9-1/2), L (9-1/2 to 11), and XL (11-1/2 to 13). The bundle is also backed by a two-year limited warranty.

Almost ruined my trip! October 3, 2008 I was so excited to get my snorkel gear for Hawaii. I took the product out of the box and packed it carefully for my upcoming adventure. I bought one for my husband and myself. We found a beautiful spot in remote Maui, got out our gear, and my mask broke. Not even used and I was already missing out on the underwater wonders. The snorkel itself was the only good thing in the box. The flippers cut into my feet when I kicked and the other mask (my husband's)had a slow leak that could never be fixed through adjusting the straps. I would recommend renting equipment wherever you go or buying something else.
Okay Quality for your Money September 29, 2008 All in All this is a pretty good value for your $$$ but beware the fins will only be comfortable if you have narrow feet and the fins are a little to stiff IMHO...but it's a great bargain for a starter set so it's not the end of the world if these don't fit well.
Mask irritating, snorkle ho-hum, fins good September 26, 2008 I paid $30+tax for the set on sale, but returned it to Big 5 because the clear PVC is inflexible and would probably dry out even more in a short time. The uneven seams irritated my face after 2 minutes in the pool. The snorkel mouthpiece tasted like plastic and was too large for my mouth. The fins were the best part of the set. The bag was really flimsy and I wouldn't expect it to hold up on my trip. For $13 more, I got a silicone set with a smaller mouthpiece, a box for my mask, dry snorkel, and defogger.
Update 10/13/08: I ordered just the fins thru Amazon for $20.
Awesome September 15, 2008 Of course Amazon's order process and selection where superb. I received the item within 3 days of shipping and took it to the local pool to test it out. I am very happy with this product.
Decent kit August 20, 2008 This is a decent kit. I should have just picked up a set from Costco ($10 more and it comes with a carrying bag and newer snorkel/goggles/fins). In either case, it served its need. I used these for snorkeling down in Baja. The mask worked well but I'd recommend buying some defogger. It would be nice if they included some in the package. Ah well... The fins worked out pretty well but seemed to get bent easily. Of course, I would sometimes stand in these since the water was so shallow and I wasn't used to walking/standing in fins. The snorkel itself is decent. I wish it had a flap to allow less saltwater to get in. There were a few times where I took a few gulps. Otherwise, everything worked pretty well. No saltwater leaked into the mask. Of course, I wasn't diving down deep or anything since we were mostly snorkeling in very shallow 3-4ft water.
