| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Bushnell has introduced a 5 power monocular that provides distance from 50-200 yards / meters to a flag. Knowing distance to the flag enables a golfer to determine the correct club to execute a shot or clear a hazard. Knowing correct distance ultimately improves confidence and scores on the course. The 5x20 Golf Scope is compact enough to fit into a pocket and very simple to use. Looking through the 5x focus-free monocular brings objects five times closer to your eye, providing sharp crisp detailed images. Within the golf scope is an etched rangefinder reticule. Once you have the base of the flag lined up to the bottom line of the reticule, simply determine distance to the flag by reading the numbers on the reticule that align with the top of the flagstick. The Bushnell Golf Scope is a great gift idea!

Great product for the golfer August 8, 2008 This product works great for the golfer in the house...compact size makes it easy to drop in your pocket or you can hang it on your golf bag...gave it to hubby for gift and he loves it!!!
A waste of Money August 7, 2008 Don't waste your money. I thought at best this gadget might give me an estimated yardage and at worst would not give any reliable data. The result was the latter. The range is based on the green flag pole being a standard height for all greens and courses. This does not appear to be the case. In order to get a reading you must be dead because it is so sensitive to movement. The optics are clear and bright. I left it in a golf cart after a round and it was not turned in. I thought so little of it that I figured anyone who keeps it, deserves it.
Not quite what I expected January 12, 2007 2 out of 10 found this review helpful
It's winter. Haven't had a chance to actually try it out, but seems as though it will work well enough.
Too many items listed though, making it confusing to compare differences and the item received was not as it was presented, but rather, like another item listed.
Waste of money and effort September 15, 2005 10 out of 11 found this review helpful
I really wanted to like this golf gadget. However, it is almost impossible to hold the rangefinder still enough to accurately see the distance readings. When I did make extensive effort to hold it motionless, the readings still were not accurate when compared to the distances noted on the course.
Not so good for golf September 8, 2005 9 out of 10 found this review helpful
I am 50 and have trouble keeping it stable. The combination of large magnification, small weight and tiny dimensions make it hard to hold in a steady position that allows accurate readings.
