This 600 oxford denier rip-stop polyester outer lining and 350g filling will offer your horse the maximum of comfort and warmth. It is waterproof and breathable with a Teflon coating and has a heavy cotton lining. This blanket provides versatility and flexibility for your horse. It offer shoulder gusset to allow freedom of movement, adjustable double front buckles , low cross surcingles and both adjustable and removable leg straps. It has a large gusseted tail flap to ensure warmth and dryness. Measuring for a perfect fit: Stand the horse squarely. Using a flexible tape measure, start from the center of the horse's chest and measure around the widest part of the hindquarter to the side of the tail. If the measurement is in between the sizes, use the next highest measurement. The price is amazing, right? And you're thinking,"Is this a cheap piece of crap?" Well, guess what? Surprisingly, it ISN'T!!! It actually has all the bells and whistles, of, say, a Rambo, but at a much. much lighter denier and with some poor sewing workmanship inside.
I returned the one I purchased for one reason: the inside sewing on the dart of the shoulder gusset was very crude and bulky, and i was afraid it would rub my sensitive skinned horse's shoulders.
If you're not dealing with a "fussy" horse or one who is hard on his clothes, I think this would probably be a fantastic blanket for you to try!
