Product Description Has all of the GustBuster patented and proprietary design and construction technology ? Aged, Classic burn embossed curved hardwood J-handle ? Untouchable strength, durability and protection ? Wind-tested by the College of Aeronautics to 55 mph. This provides more rain coverage compared to an average sized rain umbrella with a 48" arc.
Amazon.com Product Description Similar to the GustBuster Classic umbrella but with a larger diameter, the black Doorman keeps you dry wherever you roam. The Doorman boasts all of GustBuster's patented, proprietary design and construction technology, including a pinchless open and close release system and a double-reinforced, lightning-resistant fiberglass shaft that's designed not to crimp or snap. The burn-embossed hardwood J-handle, meanwhile, offers a classic look. Best of all, the Doorman offers an expansive 62-inch canopy that comfortable protects two people at once. Wind-tested by the College of Aeronautics to 55 miles per hour, the Doorman carries a lifetime warranty.

super durable in crazy mit windtunnels April 24, 2008 This umbrella is so lovely! I love how gigantic it is, it perfectly fits myself, my boyfriend, and our backpacks. (No more wet books!) The wind here at MIT is extremely intense, and this umbrella handles it no problem. I haven't had any issues with opening or closing it, and it is easy enough to carry to work or wherever. Not too heavy, but not exactly uber-portable.
Best Umbrella Ever -- But It's Big January 20, 2008 This is a wonderful umbrella. It easily covers two people (or myself and two grandchildren) however I do not recommend using it on a crowded walk. Standard umbrellas "bump" in crowds and this one is a real hog. But if other umbrella-carriers are not an issue, this one is a treasure.
Rotten Handle January 14, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
On our first walk down the street, the handle started to buckle and peel, in big chunks (before any rain hit it)! It's faux wood looking and now there are big white chunks on the bottom, and it still hasn't actually rained. I emailed Amazon and the particular retailer a week ago, and haven't heard anything back yet! :(
Best Umbrella January 14, 2008 Large enough to let two walk under. It is great in the wind. I think this will be the last umbrella I will ever buy. Very well made.
Very good quality December 4, 2007 I know I did not need it but still bought it. But I still think it's a must have for everybody.
The quality is as good as they say. Very sturdy and balanced. Extremely pleased with it.
