Amazon.com Product Description You'll never be late again with this super smart Atomic watch by Casio. The Atomic features an analog and digital display over a blue dial for time telling at a glance. It receives a special time calibration signal and has a perpetual calendar, eliminating the need to adjust your watch during Daylight Savings Time. Very nice watch! September 30, 2008 This is a very nice watch that has a solid, sturdy feel to it. This is my second "Waveceptor" watch from Casio and this one; as well as my other one, does not dissappoint. It has great styling and it is a great value for all the features it has. The only complaint I have is with the difficult setting manual, but once the watch is adjusted, the atomic time keeing feature is great!
Perfect September 13, 2008 Perfect...just perfect. The band fits nicely and is easily adjusted by your local jeweler. Keeps very accurate time by syncing up to four times per day with the atomic clock in Fort Collins. The manual is a little difficult to understand, but other than that, it's great. Goes through normal everyday use with ease. Very attractive & stylish modern design.
Love the watch, but look out for the battery change August 25, 2008 I just ordered my third version of this watch. I love it. The first I broke the band being rough with it on. Totally my fault. The second I took back to Target to have then change the battery (free if you bought it there) and they trashed the watch trying to change the battery, which is why I am on to number three. I definitely recommend taking it to a jeweler that dose that sort of thing.
My only complaint with the watch is that the battery life is less than optimal. Between 1 year and 18 months depending on usage of the backlight I expect. I have had other Casio analog/digital watches and have had 5+ years of battery life.
It is a large heavy watch, but I have large wrists and big hands, so it fits me well. It is the first off the shelf band with the fold over clasp style I have found that I can get over my hand without scraping my knuckles. I usually have to opt for the band that opens completely (two piece style) to even be able to get a watch on.
Excellent value for an atomic watch... July 1, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This watch is really a favorite, but the directions for various functions are very confusing. The watch band is also huge and I had to make two trips to the jewelers to take out links. It's a heavy watch, probably because of all the available functions and well worth it.
