Product Description Moby Wrap Baby Carriers are amazingly comfortable and easy to wear! The design of the Moby Wrap uses your entire back, as well as your shoulders, to carry the weight of your baby. Unlike other carriers, which have narrow straps or go across one shoulder, the Moby Wrap is a wide piece of fabric that is wrapped over both shoulders and tied on your waist. There are no buckles, snaps or other fasteners which make wearing simple. The Moby Wrap is long enough to fit all sizes of baby wearers and babies - preemie to 35 lbs.Instructional Booklet Included.

Love the concept, but it's too hard to use! August 10, 2008 I used a Baby Bjorn and a Sling Eez with my first child. For my second child, I bought the Moby since the reviews were so great. It certainly looks more stylish. However, the Moby is too difficult to put on, takes too long (when you have a screaming baby, this is really tough) and it's so long, that folding it up for storage is a huge hassle. I would not buy this again.
Wonderful from the start! August 8, 2008 Within 10 minutes of opening the package I was wrapped and wearing my baby. He is 5 weeks old and quite clingy to me...he was immediately content and I was immediately two-handed again! I couldn't be happier. I have never worn or used any type of carrier and was very nervous about choosing a good one and being able to use it. This carrier makes it so simple and easy. The instructions are very straightforward. I also visited the moby.com website and watched a short video of a model wrapping herself just to ensure the tightness and all of the wrap. That was very helpful as well and assured me that I had done it correctly! I highly recommend this one!
Have patience, learn it, it's the best one around August 3, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this baby carrier based exclusively on the reviews at Amazon. It took some time to learn the wrapping (specially how tight it should be). But if you have the patience, it will be the best baby carrier you'll ever use. I also own an Infantino Euro Rider, and though it is easier and quicker to put on, is not nearly as comfortable as the Moby. We can go for 2 hour hikes using the Moby, and the baby will be comfortable. With the Infantino, we can only go for half and hour, and then the legs start to get red marks. To be successful with the Moby though, you'll need some perseverance and different tries. I used it a couple of times when my baby was 2 months old, he would cry the first 5 minutes, then get used to it and end up sleeping peacefully. I still had only one hand free, because he hated the head tucking thing, so I had to support it often. At 3 months, it was just not working at all. I couldn't fit my baby in the carrier, he was screaming, just a mess. I was about to give up, then came to Amazon and read all the good reviews again and thought, "I can't be the only one who can't make it work". Then I tried the other positions, supposed to be for much older babies. Guess what? It worked like magic. My baby is tall, has really long legs, so only a couple of positions work for him. But they work really well! And he wants to be forward facing, so he can see everything (he has good neck control, so that works fine). I strongly recommend the Moby. It's comfy for both the mom/dad and the baby, it's convenient, you almost don't feel it, it doesn't hurt your back, it spreads the weight evenly, it's great. Buy a light color, because it gets hot. And just be patient and try several positions.
Worth the Investment August 1, 2008 I love my Moby Wrap. It's perfect for taking an infant grocery shopping (much easier than lugging the carseat carrier around.) I notice my daughter calms right down when I put her in it and rock her. It was a little intimidating to tie at first, but becomes familiar real soon.
Amazing July 31, 2008 This wrap is amazing! So - the first time I tried to put my little one in the wrap it ended with a screaming baby, spit up on the wrap and a frustrated me. But I wasn't willing to give up on baby carrying yet! Later the same day I wrapped myself again - and after a few minutes fighting with the baby to get her securely placed she was all snuggled up - stopped screaming and fell asleep within seconds! Now that's magic. The first time I put the wrap on too tight and the baby didn't like the position I tried - wrapping just a little looser I could place her more easily and she seems to be super comfy. I do also own the Baby Boern and while that might be easier to put on for first timers the Moby Wrap seems much more comfortable to both - me and the baby.
