Editorial Reviews:

Amazon.com Product Description
Like any portable device with a viewing screen, the Kindle is subject to scratches, fingerprints, and other gunk that interferes with your reading experience.

Kroo's transparent screen protector for Amazon Kindle offers durable protection from these inevitable annoyances. You'll hardly know it's there, and the non-adhesive backing will not leave sticky residue when it's time to remove or replace it.

Customer Reviews:

1 out of 5 stars Applies okay, but shiny and reflective   August 31, 2008

I managed to get the screen protector on without too many bubbles, but I really disliked the surface. The Kindle screen has a matt finish that is easy to read through but not reflective. The Kroo screen protector is polished and shiny, so that you see a bit of reflection from whatever is behind. Amazon obviously did careful design work on their screen, and it seems a shame to ruin that.

3 out of 5 stars okay but not great   July 24, 2008
I thought there were two sheets , but only one. It does not go on as smooth as stated. The corner has bent up a little and there are a few bubbles. It does keep your screen clean, so I am using it.

5 out of 5 stars Great Product   July 20, 2008

Despite the other two negative reviews, I think this is a great product. All screen protectors will have bubbles if you don't take the time to go SLOWLY when you place the film onto the glass. I tried twice before getting 99% of the bubbles out. I have one TINY bubble in a corner and don't care about it because no text will ever be there or I'd just lift up the corner and fix it. As for the person that had difficulty with the protection sheet tabs, I can't help but think they did something very wrong to get this result. I followed the directions and had NO problems at all. This screen protector is also removable and washable. I think it's a good deal! You just have to go slow or have someone help smooth out the film as you put it on and you won't get the bubbles.

1 out of 5 stars Ugly Solution   July 9, 2008

Terrible, terrible product. Almost impossible to re-position...bubbles all over the top of my Kindle. Be careful!

1 out of 5 stars Terrible product. Don't buy it!   June 21, 2008

Just received the Kroo protector and I'm sending it back. There are two instruction tabs on the shield which wraps the protector when it comes. One says remove before applying and the other says remove after applying. Being one to follow instructions exactly, I removed the first tab with the shield but the paper instruction tab would not come off completely. It left an area of heavy glue residue on the protector itself on the side that would have faced my Kindle screen. That glue would not budge even using an alcohol free cleaner. I would have to damage the protector itself to get any more glue off. So back it goes. I'll spend my $10.95 on a new Kindle book.
