I saw the bad reviews and decided to order and take my chances. Shipping was 300% more than the price of the product. Right out of the box it does not work. Don't buy this. I'm not even going through the hassle of returning it. It's going to the trash.

After waiting for over a week to get this, I find out it's for an iPod that's not even made any more! I guess you get what you pay for .. not worth shipping to send it back but I am still disappointed! My "bargain of the century" turned out to be a burn!
Kill my ipodtouch connector June 9, 2008

This item cause damage in my ipodtouch dock conector. I think the size of the connector is bigger than the ipodtouch slot.

When you are traveling without a computer and want to keep your iPod charged up, this works great. Simple to use and charges up an iPod quickly.
It worked until I updated my ipod firmware March 15, 2008
This product was terrific for about 5 months.
I bought it in May, 2007.
About 3 weeks ago, when I updated my firmware with an ipod update through itunes, it quit working.
At first, I thought it was the connection, but when I plug the ipod into the charger it originally came with, everything works.
I think Apple intentionally figured out how these chargers worked and disabled them.
