SanDisk 8GB Extreme III SDHC Card w/ Reader July 31, 2008 This card is very fast. Transfers to PC using USB 2 Port are quicker than I could have imagined.
Must buy for the serious photographer July 31, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
For the professional photographer or the serious (obsessed) amateur this card is a must buy. You really can't beat the price/value ratio here. This is a fully certified Class 6 card which ensures a data read/write of 20MB/s (Class 6 is the fastest type in the SDHC profile). In fact I like these cards so much this is my second one, I have a 4GB of the same kind. If you use it with a point-and-shoot camera this will definitely be overkill but you can rest assured that it won't let you down. Great product by SanDisk.
Note: Most of us know this is a SDHC card not a regular SD. Regular SD cards are limited to 2GB, if you see a SD card that states a higher capacity be aware that it is essentially a "hack" and the card will not be reliable. I've read horror stories of entire projects gone down the drain because of those cards. 4GB and above will always have to be SDHC; therefore they will be capable of working ONLY with SDHC compatible devices.
Superb Performance!!! July 25, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought the Sandisk Extreme III 8GB SDHC card a month ago and it works very well with my Nikon D80. I love the card's high performance on my DSLR. Everything in the product description is true. I never regret buying this card instead of the 4GB. I am now able to capture more pictures using JPEG fine or NEF(RAW) format.
Sandisk cards are extemely reliable and made of high quality. It comes with a image files recovery cd just in case you lost your data inside the card but I have never tested it. The downside is that the card is pricey but it is worth it.
Highly Recommended!!!
perfect memory .... July 13, 2008 iam using it in my canon rebel xsi " 450 d " in heavy use ,, it very nice and fast to transfer data.
