We have used the waterpik products since they have been introduced and have found that they keep the gums healthy, reduce plack and are of great benefit for oral hygiene.

Back in the 60's my parents bought a Waterpik because it was a fad and/or it recommended by our dentist...I don't remember. In any case, it worked. I went to college and I don't know what happened to the thing but when my dentist recommended the purchase of a new one recently I bought one without hesitation.
As in the 60's the new one works just as I remembered. It was priced accordingly and does exactly what it claims to do to. People at Maytag, Saturn and other manufacturing facilities should learn this concept.
My only issue with the purchase is that I had it shipped without cost using the Amazon free shipping program which in this case was the USPS. As I tracked the package I noticed it went from Georgia to Illinois where it was received. Then it was received again at the same location in Illinois a few days later. After that it went back to Georgia where it must have gone into a "Black Hole."
I called Amazon Customer Service and attempted to talk to someone, somewhere who almost could speak English. What a nightmare. Needless to say the conversation was quite frustrating at best. After about one half hour of attempting to communicate with this person on the other end of the phone, he did manage to tell me that a replacement Waterpik would be sent immediately...which it was using UPS.
To summarize, the product is well worth the money. Amazon prices its products well. The USPS leaves a lot to be desired when it come to using its services to send packages through the mail. Amazon's Customer Service needs to employee people who can speak the same language as its customers.

My dentist had suggested that I use a water pic in order to help restore the health of my gums. I found this model on Amazon, and I have to say I love it. It's fun to use and really gets small particles out from between your teeth. The quality is great for the money, it works perfectly and comes with plenty of attachments. My husband, who is a regualar user of dental floss loves it too.

I purchased this as a replacement for a Waterpik that finally died after some years. Over all I have no complaints It works well, and does what is supposed to ( you don't see that to often anymore).
There is of course almost always a but....and this is mine.
The Waterpik attachment clicks into a rotating head. This allows you to reposition the angle as needed while in use. I feel that the detents (click stops)are to loose and should be more firm.
All together I think it is an excellent product.

This model is so much more quiet than the other older models. Amazon's price is much lower than retail stores (at the time I got it).
