Good Idea for Safer Golf VacationsMarch 9, 2007 It takes only one trip on an airplane to realize that a soft-sided golf travel bag doesn't offer enough protection for your clubs. This club head cover allows you to continue using your soft-sided bag for travel without wrapping your club heads with clothing and towels to keep them intact. The cover is a simple padded contraption with plenty of velcro to make it adjustable to fit most clubs and bags. It just wraps around the tops of the club heads that extend above the top of your golf bag, offering them some padding within your travel bag--just in case your bag gets unloaded head-first by the baggage handlers. It obviously can't protect clubs as well as a hard-sided travel bag, but it's a good solution if you don't want to scrap your soft-side.
