The Men's Hippo XXL Hybrid Irons have a wood-type body constructed of 17-4 stainless steel. This design helps provide the forgiveness and distance of a fairway wood while maintaining the control of a traditional iron. The larger head and deeper center of gravity produced by the additional weight placed low in the head helps to produce a higher and softer landing shot and reduce twisting on off-center hits. The length, torque, flex-point and weight of the hybrids' uniflex steel shafts perfectly match each head to provide accuracy and distance. The set includes a deluxe head cover for each hybrid. The HiPPO golf brand was born out of Howson Sports, a UK based sports equipment manufacturer in 1989. It has grown rapidly to become the largest European-based brand in the golf industry.
