 Works great in dry hot climates July 13, 2008
We bought 2 of these for our trip to Disney. Worked great! Cools you off without soaking you. Never had a leaking problem. Stored easily on one of the bottle pockets in our backpack.
Now, in Chicago, where we live, this will never get used. It's already 90% humidity and adding more won't help.

bought this product to bring to Disney World in August. Needless to say Disney in August is hard to bear due to heat & humidity. This product however is a godsend. Filled with cold water it cools you off just like the large mister fans throughout the park - there doesn't seem to be many of these at Disney? Suggest re-filling with ice water as often as possible- though even with warm water at Disney it was a relief. Extremely portable. Would definitely recommend to anyone who needs small, portable cooling device.

This item works as advertised - just don't be wearing glasses when you do use it. The mist is very fine and refreshing, but impractical if you wear perscription glasses (regular or sunglasses) because you will have to remove them to wipe them clean everytime. I bought this because I have no AC in my car in S. Fla. and hoped to use it to cool down while driving. Needless to say, I cannot use it when the car is moving, because I do not have windshild wipers on my eyeglass frames. Otherwise, it gets the job done.
