Product Description
FOUR (4) Extra Pins INCLUDED. Manufactured to strict quality standards this link remover is the best heavy duty twist movement tool to remove stubborn watch links. Most link removers use a small handle, but this larger model makes it easier to remove links. Link remover will push the pin out, and you will need a small needle nose plier to fully pull the pin out. Watch Band Link Remover for Bracelet Adjustments Watch Watch Band Link Remover for Bracelet Adjustments - Watch Band Link Remover for Bracelet Adjustments. Twist design makes it easy to remove or add links to your watch band. Every watch collector needs a watch adjuster as part of their collection. Stop wasting money taking it to a jewler when you can do it yourself. It pays for itself after 2 uses and lasts for many years. Easily alter your watch at home without scratching the band. Fits most bands using a pin system to hold links together. Comes with four extra pins for replacing bent pins. Many watch bands use directional link pins, therefore you must push in the direction of the pin. Improper use of the tool will damage the pin and your tool. Please be careful when pushing the pin. It should easily slide out with some force. If you are pushing very hard and no movement, try using some lubricant like WD40 to help the pin slide out.

5 out of 5 stars Watch Pin Removal Tool   October 2, 2008
Works exactly as expected, no issues, no damage to the watch band or the pins. Definitely worth the money.

5 out of 5 stars Watch Band Link Removal Tool   September 29, 2008
Fabulous product. Worked perfectly on a band that was "killing me" with conventional tools. Great company too - fast delivery.

4 out of 5 stars Not great but functional.   September 12, 2008
I consider the band on my watch a very typical one, but this tool still has problems holding it in place. After I finally line up the pin with the hole with manual fumbling, however, it works smoothly.

An advice for newbies: The pins in your watch band are usually held in place by tiny jackets sitting inside the central links. Make sure you do not lose them when you release the pins.

5 out of 5 stars great tool   September 10, 2008
I have used this on three different watches. It is easy to use and quickly gets the job done.

5 out of 5 stars FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, DIY!!!!!!!   August 26, 2008

I decided to buy this thing after I took my black anodized titanium watch to Kay Jewelers for resizing. The idiot jeweler scratched the crap out of my band and took all the links out from one side of the clasp instead of alternating...I know what youre thinking: "what the hell were you thinking?!" I was at the mall already and I was eager to wear my cool new watch! I figured they sell a lot of watches so their jeweler must know what hes doing. If I wasn't such a nice guy I would've made that idiot buy my watch from me.

Anyways, bought this puppy and did a proper job myself in about 10 minutes (the jeweler took at least 20 minutes of banging around and cursing in the back work area to produce my watch in the sorry state that it was in). I was also able to replace some of the MORE damaged links with some of the LESS damaged spare links. My watch is still a little beat up but at least the links are even on both sides of the clasp now.

Lessons Learned: 1) Dont expect anyone to take pride in their work and do a good job for $10USD and certainly don't trust such a person with a $250+ watch. 2) For around the same price, you can buy this tool and easily do it yourself. Use the correct size pin on the tool (3 small, 2 large included). Just take the time to perfectly align the pin on the tool and the pin on the watch and push it out in the direction of the arrow on the underside of the band (All watch bands have this arrow). Once it is pushed out as far as it will go, use a good set of pliers to pull it completely out. Be sure to pull it straight out or you will bend the link pin. To replace the link pin, insert it in the same orientation (butt first) on the same side it was pulled out from. GENTLY tap it in as far as it will go with the butt end of a screwdriver, then use this tool to finish it off, again, being sure to perfectly align both pins in the hole. Simple.

About the tool: It seems durable enough despite its plastic construction. Also, as opposed to metal, a plastic tool is less likely to scratch your watch. The tool pins are steel and I didn't have any problems with them breaking. I am very happy with my purchase. Having learned never to trust anyone to do a proper job resizing my watches, I am sure I will get a lot of good use out of this tool.

Super quick shipping from Watch Pavilion. This thing arrived within three days of ordering via USPS Priority Mail.
