Cannot beat it for the price July 24, 2008 It works well on my bike - accurate data once you set tire size. Easy setup. Could use some additional bells and whistles but for what I paid for it I am very happy.
Good for the money July 23, 2008 Just wanted something to tell me how fast and how far I was going. Installation wasn't hard. The pictures in the instruction were not very clear, so I just figured it out by looking at the parts and the bike and the small pictures in the instructions.
Terrible July 22, 2008 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
This item doesn't work so never buy it. It is supposed to be a 17 function computer. 2 of them work. The time works and the temperature works. The temperature on this computer will usually be 30 degrees Feiranheit warmer than it actually is. it is teribbly designed and never told me speed or distance or anything! This product should not be purchased ever. I only rated it one star because that is the least you can give.
Nifty July 20, 2008 Ride the Silver Comet trail near Atlanta...flat, paved converted railway. Ridden with it twice so far...seems accurate (compared it to a GPS last ride). Neat features like tempurature plus standard distance & time. Set up was pretty easy. The ad makes it appear larger then it is...it's really about the size of maybe a G-shock wristwatch. But easy to read anyway. Intuitive setup and use with 2 buttons. Has a scroll feature to cycle through all of the functions. Uses watch batteries and seems easy to change them. Price was outstanding through Amazon. I recommend it.
Low Price/ Great Product! July 19, 2008 I bought two of these for bicycles owned by my son and I -- a dirt bike and my ten speed. He's 15, and installed them both in a manner of minutes and they have worked flawlessly.
He has a 20 inch and mine is a 26 inch. The tire input size worked great -- we have tracked mileage on similar trips and been very, very close. I have spent $20-$30 for models from Walmart, this beat them all. The function keys were very easy to use and logical -- even the thermometer worked!
Very, very happy.
